I can’t be the only one who has accidentally left the lid off their salt over night! I can’t believe how fast it absorbs moisture and turns solid. However I found a simple cure, just don’t tell my wife! I used a screw driver and broke it up into manageable chunks then “borrowed” one of her beaters from her mixer and stuck it in my cordless drill and ran it through the salt for 10-15 minutes until it was a fine powder again! Luckily it wasn’t a full bucket, only about 1/6 full!

I got one of those 20KG boxes that comes with bite size bags made up instead of just one big tub. Makes measuring easier and it keeps them fresh. I just pop the bag in a ziploc once I’m done and it’ll stay dry

I bought one of the matching salt brand buckets, so that I can put the bags from the boxes inside something that is air tight and quick/easy to reseal. Can fit about 3 of the 4 bags from a box of IO in the IO bucket.

It was a bucket that I left the lid off of. But yes I do buy the 200 gallon boxes and just open the bags and dump them into the bucket when I need more. Just happened to forget to put the lid back on when I was making a batch of water.
