Solitary clownfish-probably a female?

I’ve had my lightning maroon clownfish for a week and a half and I’ve been assuming it is a she simply because of the size. She’s nearly 3”. It’s a captive bred ORA so I’m assuming this fish was housed with other clowns. Is it safe to assume she is a she?
I’m not interested in trying to pair it with another, just curious. Is there any way to tell? If this one was never a female, will it always remain a male if there is not another maroon to “trigger” the change?

Lightning maroons are beautiful - congratulations! Although you can't tell by looking at it, the fish is likely a female based on the information that you shared. If you were to add another clownfish to pair with it then I would suggest adding a potential mate that is much smaller. Wilkerson goes into this in more detail in her book on clownfish.

Thanks @Peace River! It is a really beautiful fish. It came in with a mouth injury that is mostly healed up. She finally started eating yesterday so I hope she’s on her way to an uneventful observation period before going into the DT. Not looking to pair, just curious. Thanks again!
