Solomon Island zoanthids

I'm not sure if I saw the pictures here or on another forum...but it was awhile back. Does anyone have pics or succesfully kept any? From what I can remember, they had the craziest blues...but after a small craze, topic somewhat disappeared.

I had a few polyps once upon a time. They never grew and eventually melted. If I could get my hands on a few more polyps of those exact zoas I'd be very happy (aka PM me if you have them). Here are a few pics:

Thanks for the pics Chelsey, those were the exact blues I remember seeing in the pics. Where did you get them from previously, if you don't mind me asking?

These look similar, but not sure about origin.

I thought soloman were all small like these..

I bought my polyps from Gateway Aquatics (Zomania). They had a rock in and were selling them off of ebay. The polyps were very small. They do look similar to the first ones you posted dc_909, but the ring was WHITE, not green. I wish they hadn't melted

I got mine from Gateway Aquatics as well under the name Bahama Blues. They are the tiny polyp type of zoas and did great in my tank until zoa pox swept through. They are the only morph I completely lost to the pox

I have also seen them called Blue Micro Dots, but can't remember the vendor that had them.

you might want to check at dr macs
they deal with the solomons A LOT!
i was supposed to get a colony of it, and i had it on hold fo rme but they ended up fragging it and told me they sold it! pmo but what can you do
