Solution to sagging mesh lid?

No matter how tight I pull the mesh or whether I buy or make the lid…the mesh always ends up sagging significantly and in the water even if the water level is low. Is there a solution or possibly another type of open lid not made of mesh? Anyone else have this problem? At first it didn’t bother me now the lid is almost completely sagging into the water.

It was an DIY kit with everything pre-cut…and I have tried to pull it tight but it still sags in the middle. I’m just wondering if there’s another solution or different type of lid that’s not glass?

I use window kits and they don’t sag at all.

How are you cutting your splines? That makes a difference ime

Temporary zip tie the net and frame and snug them

Her Tank is only a 20g... She only needs to do it proper and it will be fine.

I'm pretty happy with the DD Jump Guard.
No sagging at all.
