Solutions for Vortechs and Snails?

Hi all,

A few months back I added Dwarf Cerith snails to my tank. While there addition has been terrific as far as CUC effectiveness goes. They have been an absolute nightmare when it comes to getting into my Vortech pumps. Does anyone have any creative solutions to prevent this? I'm going to lose my sanity picking their remains out of these wetsides everyday

These work great for the suction side of the pump. If they are climbing through the discharge port then that might be another issue you could solve with some window screen
