Solutions Needed For Return

Another option if you’re having issues with the siphon - when I set up mine I eventually just cut the return line about 1/2” below the planned water surface. Shoots the water straight down, siphon breaks almost immediately when the pump is off, no fountains when the pump starts back up.

I’m not sure why the quality of this video came out so poor… but I think I got it figured out with the hole in the return line.

I would consider drilling multiple holes, I put 3 in mine, just in case one gets blocked, you have 2 others that can still work to break the siphon. If you don’t want to do that, it’s fine, it’s a bit overkill, but just make a routine of checking that it’s clean and brushing it with a toothbrush every couple of months.
