Hi Folks, after joining a few weeks ago and such a warm welcome I now need some advice if possible any comments/help welcome and taken on board.

I have 100L reef tank fluval M90. We haven’t got any fish yet as we want to get the water spot on 1st.

I just wanted to share some photos with you to see if you think iv got the sump set up right and if things look to be in order. I had a small marine tank years ago and it didn’t have a built in sump.

Again absolutely any help or advice much much appreciated I’m here to learn and as our local marine shop is almost an hour away this forum is my main tool to get this right. I have also been adding a weekly dose of starter solution (drtims) in the hope that when we take a water sample into the shop we’re not far away from having it spot on. I do need to get a water test kit too very soon

Sump looks a-ok. Consider in the future, a larger skimmer (like tunze 9104) and lay the heater in sump as best as possible in the event it gets sucked dry in your absence from a popped hose, blockage or similar.
