Lets start with what I know best as far as controllers go: reefkeeper lingo.
Module: an added component that adds a new hardware ability to any controller.
SID: system interface device, used to update a module.
Head unit: displays info and allows for option toggling.
Pc4: power control module, allows for on/off functions.
MLC: moon light control, a module that controls dimmable moonlight leds at 0-100% dimmability.
ALC: advanced lighting controller, controls up to 2 dimmable led drivers using a 0-10 V current, also can control 2 lunar pods.
Lunar PODs: a 2 LED moonlight controlled by an MLC or ALC, dimmable and available in red, white, or blue.

(continued)
SL1: system lab one, allows for tha addition of two switches, and a pH and ORP probe.
SL2: adds 2 switches and a pH and salinity probe. (I do not recomend a digital aquatics salinity probe, from what I hear, they do not work, and are a waste of money.
Please add apex and profilux lingo, I'm sure a lot of people planning on getting either controllers would appreciate it!
