I have a 20 gallon tall with 10 gallon sump at almost 5 months old now. I have 15 corals (Frog Spawns, Torches, Hammers, Acans, Zoas, Mushrooms & GSP), 2 clowns, malaneus wrasse, green chromis, cleaner shrimp, hermits and snails. My issue is that I had 2 GSP frags that stopped opening up and now I have 2 torch's not opening up, one is way worse than the other. GSP's haven't been opening for about a month and half. One of the torches' has been struggling for about that time too. The other just started not opening up yesterday which has me now concerned. Everything else looks to be thriving. I think my parameters are fine so I'm starting to think I may have a lighting issue since I've never tested PAR. My single AI Prime is about 11in above the water and I do have glass covering 95% of the top of the tank (glass is about an inch above the water level). My light is running 7 hours with an hour tapper on both sides. Light intensity is (UV 50%, Violet 55%, Royal55%, Blue 55%, Green 2%, Deep Red 2%, Moonlight 4%, Cool White 15%) Light has been on this schedule for almost 4 months.

Did a 30% water change last night after I got these parameters so I will check them again tonight.

Parameters:
Temp: 79
Salinity: .025
PH: 8.25
Amonnia: 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 5
Alk: 8.3
Cal: 440
Phos: .03

What are your thoughts?

I want to also add that I'm about to transfer everything to my newly set up Red Sea Reefer 250. Already transferred the Chromis, a Clown, and red leg and a snail. I'm probably two weeks away from wanting to transfer all the corals.

Thanks,

Rob

Hi have u done anything different or taken longer to do water change ? Moved flow or adjustments to lighting ?

I do water changes about every 2 weeks. I had 1 GSP on the back glass glued to a magnate and one in the sand bed. The one on the back glass started not opening first so I moved it to the sand bed beside the other one, then they both started not opening up. When the first torch started having major issues I moved it from the sand bed to a few inches higher up on the rocks, that didn't help. Then the other torch started having issues so I did play with the flow a bit but not much. I'll be home in about 2 hours and will try to post a couple pictures.

Haven't done anything with the lighting yet.
