Oops I read that and then forgot it in 2 seconds. Its a black longspine urchin. He has grown quite a bit, does munch on coraline algae, but the tank is big enough that he cant keep up with how fast its spreading.

It has only been in there for about three weeks now. Eats just about everything and gets in there with all the other fish to compete for food. Not shy at all.

Maroonish idols I heard are almost impossible to keep because of their eating habits what do you feed yours?

Maroonish idols I heard are almost impossible to keep because of their eating habits what do you feed yours?

I have had a harder time feeding other fish than the idol, such as the male watanabei angel. The idol eats anything you put in there. Flakes, pellets, various frozens, rods food, selcon soaked nori, etc. The watanabei eats it all now too, but in the begenning I never even saw him eat anything.
