Hi
I have some kind of red algae that has started growing in my tank and my PH is at an all time low of 7.8.

do I need to worry?

I can’t really tell if it’s sheet like which simply pulls off easily or if it’s actually a much harder type like coralline. If you’re able to simply put your finger down by it and dust it off easily it’s cyano which will need removing by hand or you could use a product called Chemiclean but be sure to follow the instructions to a T. If it’s a solid type of algae that’s not easily removed, you’ve got red coralline and nothing to worry about.

Cyano bacteria. Suck it out

I'm finding it difficult to tell. I thought it may be Corraline, but perhaps its too red. Coraline is more pink/purple.
