Yeah, so far my mixed reef has 2 mushrooms (Ricordea Yuma & Blue discasomas), 4 different montis, 2 euphillas, 1 Duncan and a faviaI wanted a true mixed reef and it sounds like Gulf Coast has a great operation going. They also have a very informative website about all the macro-algae they sell.
Nice! Sounds like a cool setup. I would get Ricordeas but the appearance bothers my wife, haha! She's very supportive of my hobby though so I figure I can compromise there.Yeah, so far my mixed reef has 2 mushrooms (Ricordea Yuma & Blue discasomas), 4 different montis, 2 euphillas, 1 Duncan and a favia
Love it! Also, what's that encrusting coral in the bottom right? Kind of looks like a favia of some kind? Or a leptastrea?I have a couple I was given.

Yeah, it is- kinda (Ricordeas are overrunning half of the tank- the chilli is growing nicely though now it’s upside down in a cave). Also, Ricordea Florida doesn’t have the uneven look of R. yuma, I have both (One of each in my nano, but in my big display it’s only Yuma at the minute) it’s always nice to have more people into the hobby because it’s not as popular as many othersNice! Have you found yuma to be finicky compared to Florida? I keep hearing theyre slightly more demanding.Yeah, it is- kinda (Ricordeas are overrunning half of the tank- the chilli is growing nicely though now it’s upside down in a cave).
