The first I spotted after noticing my mushroom closing up for a few days, just want to confirm if this is aphisia? I have 3 peppermint shrimp I added recently and they did great removing a few aphisias that were in there. Wondering why they ignore this one. And the second ID, is this a spagetti worm? My favias been getting smaller and when I went to relocate, I notice this under the favia coming out.

Yes aptasia
Peppermint can get lazy at times
With a syringe type applicator, mix kalkwasser powder with tank water into a paste the consistency of toothpaste and inject into the center core of the aptasia and it will melt away

Try to snap it off at base with a needle nose pliers
If too difficult, place a dab of gel superglue from the dollar store over the opening
