This stuff is EVERYWHERE!!! We've all seen those long beautiful displays with pristine white sand and clean purple rocks. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I think it's some kind of hair algae which floats around the tank and is littered in the sand. I hate it. In addition to an aptasia problem, my tank just looks like garbage. It's gotten to the point where my corals won't even spread anymore because the algae is so attached to the rocks. I tried to remove these guys so many times, and even after many minutes of scrubbing, they still are they in the rocks. I think I have a fundamental problem in my water. It's been like this for over a year now and I have done monthly water changes because I only have one clown in my 30 gallon. I use rodi water btw. If anyone with experience wants to help, please do.

PS, I know this is the wrong forum but tips on aptasia would be appreciated as well

Thanks yall

Have you tried reef flux? I had good luck this product. With both bryopsis and some hair algae.

Follow your normal wc schedule to remove the nutrients released but dose the change water as well to keep the dosage the same for the whole treatment.
