Some kind of brittle starfish

These hitchhikers came with a coral I ordered.
Unfortunately I didn't seem them until I did a coral dip and they didn't seem to survive long.

Yes, those are micro brittle stars! Very cool to have. I probably have about 100 in my tank. Sorry that yours didn't make it.

That is a question I do not have an answer for. Hopefully someone else can come in on this.

Visually inspect the coral first and remove them (gently) with tweezers.

They are great in the sump. I actually bought some once. I need to check if they are multiplying. Flashlight at night is the best way.
