Some kind of flower thing?

Hey guys! I think this thing came in on some snails I got recently. Seems like some of the other snails had these on their shells. Its opening up like its a living creature. Is this ok to have hanging out in my tank??

Looks like a baby feather worm to me. My wife's tank is full of the little critters! They are filter feeders and wont cause any problems. Some of the experts on R2R will be able to verify!
