Found this little guy while breaking up a coral into frags. Looks like he's smiling in the first pic. :-) Last pic has a finger in it for scale - he's just tiny.

Amphapod. You want them. Free fish food and detritus eaters
Yep, they are amphipods. Completely safe to keep and helps your tank too!
Seriously!! ... Well done.




Just a little update: Found this exoskeleton floating in my tank today. Had to act quick with the coral-feeding-bulb to catch it before it got lost in the currents. Either this guy just shed, or he has friends! :)

I'd say he has friends. Not likely you have just one Amphapod in your tank. ;)
