Finally got my tank under control and first order of corals came in, used Seachem reef dip per directions for 10 min or so.

Torch coral inflated surprisingly fast Palythoa opened right up still waiting on GSP also got a pink birds nest and put him at top of tank will my black box be enough I have a powerhead pointed towards him.

Permaeters mostly in check nitrates a bit high 20 or so but water change soon planning on staying around 10 if possible until I get a hob refugium.

I am most concerned about this sps any advice?

Also my ricordea balls up is this simply an issue of too much light? I have tried to move him under a rock for a little bit of shade and can provide more direct shade but don’t want to starve him of direct light.

There were many pests asterina starfish a red colored worm and even a couple other things crawling around should I do a second dip in a few day? Is “liquid” Bayer okay I ordered some but pretty sure people use a powder.

Bayer is indeed a liquid.
Truth be told, if you missed anything at this point, whatever it may be is now in the tank.
Asternia are not uncommon and generally not an issue. The red worm was probably a bristle worm. Again, usually not an issue.
Riccordia do indeed like lower light and flow.
Keep the updates coming!!

When you say your params are in check, do you have a measurement on alkalinity and calcium? that's what you'll need to monitor most closely with that birdsnest you've got.

ty both helpful, everthing is opening up the torch inflating is def interesting and how fast, gsp is slowly emerging it seems interesting how slow compared to others mushroom moved into shade a bit more accurately

and if you can maybe see in last pic i wedged some dragons breath into the middle column rock (will work on picture taking skills)

if my lighting is too high will the torch retract as an indicator? or will it just bleach/go transparent? i'm guessing it wouldnt open as fast as it did if lights were too much. 1 of the polyps on the torch went transparent i think my lighting was too high or maybe it was damaged

ive reduced whites to 10% and blues to 70% for now, it looks better anyways

yes calcium is fine and alkalinity was 8 or 9
