Really nice!
Do the rotundas sting as powerful as echinatas? It looks like a cross between an echinata and chalice.

kass

I haven't found out yet but I'm guessing that it packs a pretty good sting.

Acanthastrea rotundoflora is one of my favorite not-super-common species. I love all acans, including yours (steals it when not looking ) :-)

Thanks! We are very lucky here in Portland to have several grade A reef shops!

Sweet - I like the Rotundaflora too.

I just picked up an exact replica of this from my LFS. Mine just shows a hint of green around the rim in, i hope in my system it will turn out nice for me. Very nice piece you have there!

i have a very similar acan rotundaflora with purple base, yellow flecks, orange eyes, and a bright green rim. I got the piece in as a chalice but later found out it was a acan. Still super nice and colorful! Just made 2 frags of mine and they healed fast. Good luck with cutting your frags...
