Dyson Vacuums are pretty sweet! Sucked up about a gram of the concoction and got a rough estimate of the particle sizes.

Beautiful corals!!

Beautiful!! I dosed my 4th time and I have noticed a pretty big jump in phosphate this 4th time over past 2 days 60 ppb to 90 this am… heavy fish load. Nitrate is the same at 10. I might run a small amount gfo thoughts?

Those values aren’t too high in my opinion. But if you’d like lower values I would just cut back on the feed amount. Also check your other food products, phosphate may be an added ingredient. I had been using tdo pellets for a long time until I realized that phosphate was added as an ingredient!

Limiting intake would be much simpler than adding gfo. Adding gfo would also force you to worry about a shift in trace element dynamics, rapid phosphate depletion. Issues that are much more problematic

Agree. I feed LRS right now which I know can be a bit heavy on phos. Might just ride it out and dial back a bit seems better option. Curious as to your not safe phos numbers when ya might see decline or issues.

His stuff looks really nice in person! If you thinking about getting some coral from him don’t wait.

How are you preparing the V3 for dosing? Let it sit in water until it dissolves?
You can use a turkey baster to help and dissolve it.

Thanks a lot Jarek!

Can't say there is a specific value, you really have to look at the big picture when you talk about nutrient values. I've had phosphates near 1 ppm and I still was happy with the corals

Alan, please.. I need this Concotion here in switzerland!
I know its impossible... But maybe at leasttell me whats inside so I can mix if myself?

So far, my corals seem to like the feed. Nutrients were going up a little, but I’ve increased my carbon dosing, and reduced my feed amount. Currently feeding 1/2 gram a day in 10mL. I feed 5mL in the morning and 5mL in the evening totaling 1/2 gram for the day. Corals show good response and my sick corals look better, but I have increased the PAR. My Goni loves it. I tried to frag a Raja with bone cutters…(don’t go well!!), but I target fed the 4 frags the next day, and they seem to like it. They looking better now. Still testing, but it’s definitely better than what I was feeding. I think it’s better than any feed on the market. Will buy more for sure.

I soak mine and stir for about 30 mins until dissolved in a pint glass of fresh salt water.

curious as to your total water volume, and how stocked your tank is and how much you saw nutrients rise. Sorry a lot of questions. I dosed 1/2 gram and my phosphates did a pretty solid jump from 0.16 to 0.28 in about 4 days on the way down now. Nitrate stayed the same at 10ppm. I have 300 gallon moderately stocked. Thanks!
