I guess it would be similar to ghost feeding a system. I don’t think it would hurt, would probably help the cycling process

Awesome looking acro. I'm not a species ID whiz by any means but does it not look like a Granulosa kind of (no doubt you know what a granulosa is.. lol).

Definitely not your typical granulosa if it is, it’s super cylindrical and tables interestingly. Here is my backup colony in the left. On the right is my Bugatti
