CRT Rainbow Explosion, I grew this piece from a tiny quarter inch frag for several years and now it is starting to grow a bit.
Wow that has a ton of color, I bet the waiting list for a frag is a mile long, put me down lol

Been growing this out for awhile too, grow slow, but seems to be picking up the pace now.
This is it in low light, it was almost all orange when it was higher. I need to make some room so I can color it up again.

Sweet milli, is that a no namer?
No, I don't believe it is a milli more like a nasuta. It is my CRT Phoenix.

Here are some new pics.

I had my pretty in pink under about 600 par and the p/e on the higher light side of the coral wasnt as good as the lower light side of it. I assumed it was too much light for it but yours is living proof it will take that much light. I think I will move it back into the strong light and see how it goes. Have you ever seen a corals p/e be effected by the strength of lighting? My rr asia op seemed to be the same way with its p/e while under 600 par.
thanks
Jeff

All I can say is Wow.

Would be really informative if you find the time to do a nice explanation of your dosing regime, calcium introduction, lighting, water change intervals, etc. You are obviously doing something right and every little bit of info helps.

Thanks for sharing! Keep pics coming. It's inspiring.

Thanks, my systems are quite simple I use a calcium reactor on each one. Currently on my 4 tanks i have 2 ati sunpowers with 2 reefbrite xhos on each.
1 ati powermodule
And 4 radion g3 pros
Water changes are about 2 or 3 times a month, the max amount of water I take out each time is 5 gallons.
My systems only have a calcium reactor, carbon and gfo, and some chaeto that is it for filtration.
Is that multiple frags of the biohazard?
I guess you can say that. I glued multiple pieces down on the same rock to keep as back up, and if I need frags I can always just peel one off.
