Hi, I'm new here... so I just thought I'd post some pics of my zoa babies. Sorry they're not the best pictures, but I tried. :)

Not too many more...I'm really not that good at tank photography. I'm going to try to take more though. I have more zoas than this too. I have really cool red ones and red and blue ones too.

Funny thing about the "blues"... I got those for free with a coral order. They were only a few sad polyps on this little rock. I thought they were going to die because they looked like they were being choked by some kind of sponge or something. I pulled whatever that was off and babied them like crazy for a week before they even opened up. Now they're totally unstoppable and taking over my tank!! lol

Thanks for all the welcomes... nice to find you guys. :)

I know that a lot of people call zoanthids "weed" corals, but I totally love them... even if they are growing out of control with no sign of slowing down.

Sounds like it's time to frag those bad boys.

Your pics look good to me. If you check out the photography forum, Nikon Guy has a tutorial or two worth checking out. He's the guru around here.

Thanks :) They're really tough too. I accidently squirted them with NaOH once while trying to kill xenia and aptasia growing on and between them and they just closed up for a day and opened up the next like nothin' had happened.

i agree, the first ones are really nice...welcome to cz!
