some pics from our collection

these are a pretty cool zoa i must say , differerent than the average speckles or bright colors.....it was a taiwan import and a friend of mine snagged them from reefraft when they came in (hes quick lol) ...he has dubbed them Michelangelo's and neither of us could find a solid id on them anywhere:)

oops lol

The collection looks great!
I'm confused too, they look like Dons, but we had green galaxy also that stay just sparkles
Like the first pic, fringes may be thicker/briter though, so must be the Dons we sent
thanks:)

this ones a bit of a unknown ....i bought it from neptunes cove and this was the color it came in back in april , it was supposed to be a donatello but has since changed colors completely ......now i believe its either a solar circus or a donatello....im up for suggestions lol

here's an up to date pic:

you can see it went very bright , grows well too which is nice and i fragged it several times.

cheers and enjoy!!

Hey bill:)

Yeah I think so too they were all labeled but as time went by I lost track of what was what lol I did order a Donatello so Im pretty sure this was it:)

In Any case though freaking beautiful piece :)

The orange fireworks sure got bright and the candy man....well your pic doesn't do it justice lol for a polyp that isn't expensive and grows really well it sure is pretty:)

I'll be doing another order soon enough just waiting for a good selection of new stuff on the site to make it worth the trip:)

I'm still struggling to get the green skits on the dayglo volcanoe lol it's in darker light now but I think i may have fried it out of them with a bit too much light and too low nutrients for a while there I'm hoping with time it will go back to its original colors :)

Hey Denny! Those are Michaelangelos, named after Michaelangelo from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Me and Alex named these guys and these are actually from Japan originally imported from Taiwan...

Here is a pic of mine:

nothing new i dont think but here's a few pics i apologize if any of these were posted before

a sunny d that even batman would like lol

great pics. How are you getting these to canada?

Thanks josh :)

well there in lies the problem:(

I can count on one hand the us retailers that will ship to Canada , the collectors up here while spread from end to end are not many , nothing compared to you guys down south , but it's a tight nit group and we all bring in what we can and share with the others.

Stores I'm sure like most run of the mill stores don't bother purposely bringing them in polyp at a time so it's like playing the lottery waiting for wild good stuff in a colonie form lol .......so years ago we went aquacultured and started doing it polyp by polyp , buying one or Few polyps and I think now I'm sitting on somewhere Around 200ish varieties (almost all named varieties) I haven't counted in a while lol not all are amazing but to each their own I guess :)

The search continues lol

Just got my hands on a true blue rhino a while ago which I've been after for a long time :)

I've Ben looking for a long time (6 yrs) for new suppliers but it's a rarity , if you know any reputable sellers or businesses that do sell ut of country I would love a point in the right direction lol people think shipping zoanids out of country is taboo but it's actually very simple and can be done overnight in most cases depending on what city your in.

I think we are at a point now where the selection has dried up lol I get one here or two there but the long list of zoas I still want hasn't gotten much shorter.

I've been after a strat since they first were released and to this day can't get one or even close to get one.
