They look like flat worms
I'm no expert tho

Anyway you can get a closer put?

I'm not really sure what you are referring to either. The only thing I can personally see is the polyps on the coral. Look up acropora millepora and tell us if that is what you are referring to as they are very 'hairy' corals.

That's not the polyps on the coral, it is a kind of mucosity, or maybe eggs, or maybe another unknown creature, that is the dark side of my red planet and the little rice grains looks diferent to a polyp. sometimes that acro shows those unknown particles, sometimes not, but definetly those are not the polyps!

It could be its "stomach"

I know when I turn my pumps off and I target feed my sps with some phyto feast after a few mins the sps will have some crazy white things coming out of it. Not polyps but the look like white squiggly lines, maybe it's that, maybe ur corals eating something it's water column

I know one of the sps guys will chime in soon and they should have a definite answer

Looks like eggs to me also.?. Is it causing the coral any damage or irritation?

It could be, the "stomach" or some snail eggs, i saw a lot of stomatellas last days, waiting for a certain answer, thank you guys!

Yea looks like acontia filaments these can come out for many reasons, stress, defense, feeding, spawning etc

Without seeing a good close up 360 view of the coral its hard to say flatworms or red bugs or another pest for that matter! Hope this helps a little

FYI. Here is a good resource for various worms we may end up with in our reef. Maybe you can find one that looks like what you are seeing. Worm Hitch Hikers.
I'd bet what you are seeing though is the acontia filaments as Age stated now that I look more at your closeup.

Yep. They are part of the coral. Are they coming out when you feed? Or could there be another coral near by stinging or upsetting this one.

+1 - I think they are acontia filaments. They DEFINITELY are not the eggs of Red Bugs OR AEFW - red bug eggs are an orange-reddish color and are round and found in tight groups and AEFW eggs are a similar color and also found close together. All Red Planet acros have VERY long filaments and big polyps - I get much more PE longer filaments on my Red Planet than either of my millis. My millis filaments took out a GARF Bonsai - so they can definitely be nasty. I have a good picture of filaments from a big brown stag that grew into my glass and attacked the algae on the glass. If I find it I will post it.
