Hydroids were the only thing I could find that had any resemblance- I honestly have no idea what these could be, only seen on the glass and in limited numbers for now. About 3-4 milimeter diameter for the center

Thanks in adavance!

This is obviously a Tubularia acadiae, hydranth with male gonophores. I'm just playing, but it sure does look like a hydroid.

Thanks for getting more eyes on this!
I'm not 100% sure, but it sure looks like a hydroid to me as well.
Thanks! I checked the critter ID of a few sites and thats all that really came up

How did I miss that! The subtle swelling of the ganglion and the proximity of the to the gonophoric flagella- Now I’m just embarrassed!;Hilarious
That actually looks really close, it say most are algae eaters and some eat bacteria and pods- does anyone know if these are good or bad and wether or not I should be concerned the latin name starts with Ammonia:confused:

Tiny diverse Critters with all kinds of different feeding habits at the bottom of your ecosystem I always consider a good thing.
Why they would name something that lives in the water ammonia is baffling, and just mean. On the upside, I hope that the plural is you have a bunch of ammonium. :-)
