Hi! Noticed this growth while looking in the tank. Sorry if the pictures are a little blurry and out of focus, will try to get a better one tonight with less daylight.
It looks like a center / mouth with thin polyps growing around it, the tips are a glowing green color. My first thought was majano but the "hairs" or polyps are growing around it and out to the sides so it isnt growing in a circle.
Any ideas of I might be battling soon? :P

Thanks for any tips!

Ball anemone, which is actually in the mushroom family, and not an anemone at all. Not an issue at all, leave them be.

Thank you! Good to hear, already removing Aiptasia and Valonia so glad it wasnt another pest. :)

I have them and they stay in the shadows and don’t bother anything in my tank. If you have nps they could start to be an issue, as they probably do have a decent sting. But they stay away from my coral, went form 1 to 8 of them in my system after 3 years

My eyes aren't what they used to be, but it looks like the polyp in question has a hard skeleton. It might be a Hidden Cup coral as opposed to a Ball anemone.
