It's has the structure but if you can do a better lit picture, it would help in identifying it greatly.

Maybe a Blue Dragon Carduus, but I'm no expert. I just bought a piece of this and yours looks very similar.

I guess you could call it any kind of "Dragon" you want. Without lineage to an original named Dragon Acropora it doesn't matter what it is called.

For a species it could be A. carduus if it grows into a bottle brush structure and keeps that formation of tight branches.

The original real Red Dragon is an Acropora walindii species. Which yours doesn't seem to be look like it.

Here are a few more pics...still no id

What kind of ID are you looking for? You can either get a named ID like the Dragon Acropora, but to be valid it would have to come with that name and lineage from the original named coral. If you copy the name then it doesn't matter what you call it. IMO names are only useful to distinguish lineage.

Or if you are looking for a species ID then you can get a few good guesses but it is impossible to be certain, especially at that size. So if you find a close species, the proper thing to do is put "cf." in the name to show confer or closest guess. Example Acropora cf. carduus.

Im looking for a named ID, but i do know that it is a frag of a mariculture colony. Im just lookiing for a named coral that it most likely resembles.
