Just a few updates...

We've upgraded one of our acro raceways to 8 AI vega color! Its been about 3 weeks now and the acros are really responding to the new lights!

An upgrade was much needed for our calcium reactor... so we special ordered this beast from Reef Octopus, thanks Coralvue!

1400 lbs of Marco Rock....

Lots of nooks and crannies for...

Our own live rock! We've noticed our sumps get enough splash light from our tanks to easily encrust live rock. It this photo the top layer of coralline rock was already removed...

The 500 gallon tank is down, but its going back up!! This tank was built in Todd's basement, so it had to be taken apart for the move to the warehouse. Its going to be all aquacultured corals... with lots of SPS!

Drool, that reactor looks like if you were to take my geo 818 and pair it with another and run them together. What's the media capacity on that bad boy?

That lighting is awesome it seems like every body is switching to led but I'm still keeping the ovens mh over my tank at the moment but if I hear a few more people with good growth from led I think ill be making the switch. Keep us updated on the led sps growth plz

Not sure yet... Just guessing but i'm sure 5-6 of those 8lb ARM containers would fit in each cylinder.

So far running them at 100 blue, and 30 white, red, green for 10 hours per day. I may turn up the white slowly once i feel everything is used to the new lights.

We initially set up this tank as a mixed LPS and zoa/paly tank running Ecotech G1 Radions. Really our first use of LED outside of displaying tanks at conferences and frag swaps. We did have a few issues with high humidity causing fan problems, but its my understanding the fans are now waterproof/water resistant. Went back to halides, 3 400wt. 20K radiums (which we are currently running on another tank on this system). We had to run the lights at different times due to temp fluctuations with the halides all being on at the same time. Started using the AI vega at shows and was impressed enough to try them this tank.

For sure... I also plan on showing some of the differences the same coral can have under LED vs MH

Im glad to see a top acro vendor going with vegas. I have some on my new tank and have great light coverage. Im still deciding o using my t5 with the leds on new tank. How nlhigh you have the lights , light percentage and tank depth. Did you test for par??

Can we get an update on the 500 gallon tank that was disassembled from Todd's basement and relocated to the warehouse? Cherry pics please... Thank you!

The 500 gal tank has been reassembled and has been running with saltwater and rock for quite a while now. Light canopy was just hung on Monday. This show tank is going to be amazing, not to mention there's another cube show tank set up in the office on the other side of that wall

Not much to see yet but I'm sure the Cherry guys will share some pictures soon.

Nice. I've been following along with the rare posts on the cube I see pop up, but I'm sure the 500 will be sweet. Can't wait to see more pics.
