someone forgot the do not over tighten stamp on the bulkhead

Yep this idiot sure did lol it was my first time drilling and mounting bulkheads was a nervous wreck and then messed it up by over tightening the head and crack the glass.:frusty: :sad: well i guess its off to the lfs to get a new tank on the plus it was only a 10g:neutral:

10g tanks glass Is usually pretty thin and doesn't handle the drilling process well, having bulk heads on there is a lot of stress for such thin glass.

Well the drilling part went great i drilled two holes and tightened both just over did the return lol but now i wait 15 mins for lfs to open lol

I've never drilled a 10G tank but have heard they are notorious for breaking. Even if you do make it past the drilling stage. Good luck with this project.

Ive herd this alot but the way im looking at it i have a sides to practice on lol and if i break the new i will just go back to good old siphon
