I’m sorry if this is not the best place to post this but I am panicking! My jawfish got ich this morning, none of the other fish are showing symptoms so I am setting up some quarantine tanks today. I am trying to find someone who will be able to better care for my flame angel in the event that he gets infected. He is my first dwarf angel so I would rather someone more experienced help him get better. He is a little over 1 inch in length, not aggressive at all and loves caves. I do not want to ship him, so I am willing to drive anywhere within a few hundred miles of Dallas TX or Shreveport LA (I live in between). Please help, or direct me to a better place to post this!

Try bumping up their immune system by feeding them garlic.

All of the fish have probably been attacked by the parasites by now. Remember the white spots don't show up until the parasites have attached, fed, and then dropped off the fish to begin the cycle again. The spots are a mucous response to the insertion points by the fish's immune system.

And generally speaking, depending on the fish's immune system and the condition of the fish's mucous coating, some fish will show the spots quicker or more readily.
