Something appeared in my tank. Help!

hello I am new to saltwater aquariums and I just got my live rock and tank set up. Not sure what this mushroom looking thing is or the stuff that appeared on the rock. What should I do?

From what i can tell it looks like a Discoma sp. mushroom "coral". Not too unusual to have one pop up off some rock. Probably the easiest hardiest coral out there.
