So my 40breeder mixed reef has been cruising along for about a month with no fish. The amphapods, copapods and mysid shrimp are getting plentifull and big with the only thing predating them being a skunk cleaner shrimp and a peppermint shrimp... I used to be of the train of thought that Fish are needed and all have there jobs... the jobs are covered by my rather large clean up crew and now, and fish are not "needed". I do have a rose BTA and would like a pair of clowns but are not necessary. I love tangs with purples and chevrons being my top choices, and I have always wanted a rainfordi goby.
I am looking for some help here on choosing species for my 40 breeder mixed-reef.
anyone have any good suggestions? I prefer working fish. nothing dangerous as I constantly mess with my aqua scape and coral placement. also no six line wrasses need apply.
for extra credit..... in what order would u add your proposed fish list.
the pic is a week or 2 outdated but posted o show my love for the caves and good open reef structure for fish to hide and interact with. thanks in advance for your time and help.
