With all the digging going on at County Line Road, I have been wondering about Madison water chlorine level again. I am considering getting a chlorine tester and see how high it is.
I understand that water companies tend to add extra chlorine when a major road construction is going on in case a line break occurs. Have you guys noticed anything?
My RO membrane is holding up right now, but I am getting a bit concerned. My RO membrane got damaged really early last time a water line broke in the neighborhood. I suspected that the water got treated with extra chlorine at that time. This reminds me that I need to change out my sediment and carbon filters.
I am not sure if this is related to Madison water quality, but my rotifer cultures have been doing rather poorly lately (switching from a regular chlorine remover to a stronger chloramine remover helped tremendously and rotifers are now back up to speed.)
