Something growing next to my coral

Any idea what this is?

Seems harmless but its growing right next to my coral and i want to remove it.

It is a pineapple sponge, a very common hitchhiker and harmless. It usually grows in dark places so it shouldn’t be growing on your coral. It will take hold and spread very quickly but only in dark places.

Honestly, you could just leave it be. It's not going to do anything but help filter your water.
