Something growing on GSP

Can anyone possibly have idea of what it is? Trird to pull it out because I thought it was just caught on the polys, but it seems like to be growing on the GSP and I can't get it off.

It looks roughly the same for a while. But has been growing relatively fast the last week. That's why I got curious and post the question. I will try remove it during my next water change since now I am more certain that it is not an animal. Thanks.
