Something growing

Hey everyone I have something growing on the bottom of the stem and frag that my toadstool leather is attached to. It almost looks like a fuzzy mold or something. I do have a clue what it is or if it's bad or not. Everything looks happy and content but it makes me nervous.

Awesome! Where do these things come from? I asked for help identifying what turned out to be a featherduster on a snail some days ago. It sou.ds Luke my tank is in even better shape than I thought... knock on wood!
