I just added t5HO to my led fixture, because of the color of the t5's I had to make my leds very blue, to the point if there are on by themselves everything either fluoresce or looks black. My male clown is that orange brown color of the false percula but looks black with white stripes under just the led. I put just the leds on by themselves and my female clown started attacking my male brutally. flipped the t5,s on, no problem have done this a couple of times just to see what happens and the behavior is literally turned off and on with a flip of the switch. Evidently they recognize each other by sight. just never really thought about it and found it interesting

What bulbs did you put in the T5 fixture?

ATI purple plus and coral plus, the purple plus is very pink to me and takes a lot to drown that color out, I have the blue plus on order, I hope I like it better.

I was just going to suggest that :) I really love the ATI Blue+ and use 4 in my hybrid fixture and let the LED's take care of the white spectrum :)

That's a cool observation.
