Something is eating my monticap

Hey guys, just got a new monti today and saw this under it. Does anyone know what it is?

Idk what antral and ventral means but is this what ur looking for?

The top looks fine maybe a little bleached but typically the bottom doesn't have much color.
 
You don't have a lot of stuff on your rocks, maybe it nutrient deficient.

The bottom part that looks like it has spirorbid worms and green algae. I tried scrubbing gently with a toothbrush but it doesn't seem to come off. I did Dip the coral, so would it spread?

I just got the coral a few hours ago so it couldn't be my tank and I have a red monticap doing really well.
 
Then leave it alone for a couple of days then worry about it. Let it settle. If that's the bottom algae and other things will colonize it regardless of what you do.
 
If you have a wrasse it'll eat the worms. I personally never cared about them.
 
Probably, a blue head would destroy them but it'll also eat everything else with a shell too. They are beautiful fish when they go super male but they will decimate every invert in your tank.
