My tank has been cycling for 3 months now, live rock, live sand, wave maker and bio filter. I’ve slowly added a cleanup crew 3 hermits, 2 emerald, 4 Asteria snails. I just spotted this structure today and have had no luck finding anything like it on the internet. I feel like I’ve seen it before though... any ideas?

I should mention, I have tested the water myself and found no issues, had it tested at the marine tank store (no issues) and am using reverse osmosis water for the tank.

Are you referring to the green wiry stuff or the little brown rhino horn looking thing?
Either way I’m not much help, I’m sure someone way more experienced than I will chime in.
What I can share is that I had hitchhikers coming out of the live rock for quite a while after we set up the tank. Most all of it was beneficial.
Good luck

Yes! I am. I’m aware of that, it’s just so odd...
