Something is killing all my fish.

As everyone else has said - this seems like aggression. In addition - I will postulate that the lack of a tail (due to injury) - has extremely increased the oxygen needs for this fish to swim. I would move it to a hospital tank - with plenty of oxygenation - as well as an antibiotic.

Maracyn is an antibiotic (Erythromycin) that seems to have the most effect against gram positive bacteria. Velvet (Amyloodinium) is a flagellate protozoan that is not at all inhibited by Maracyn. If the issue is velvet, the best treatment is coppersafe (but it will kill all invertebrates, so must be done in a fish-only treatment tank).

If I move all (3) the fish to QT again and treat with copper would it be a good idea to do a fallow period? And will the pistol shrimp be okay without the watchman he is paired with? Since I obviously can’t put it in with the copper.

Let's back up a bit. I'm not convinced this is a protozoan disease, I just put that out there as one possibility.

Breaking up a shrimp/goby pair is not ideal. The goby doesn't have any symptoms, right?

Your original diagnosis of flukes (plus aggression) is still a possibility.

I went back and re-read this thread, but I'm still a bit lost. Can you recap the condition of location of your remaining fish this morning?

So recap is originally I thought I had fin rot. One clownfish has a weird bump on its tail, the clownfish pictured had messed up tail, Purple tang had ripped looking fins, royal gramma lethargic and sticking to bottom of tank, goby no noticeable issues. Treated with Maracyn bc of suspected fin rot. Lost purple tang, and one clown.
Put clown and gramma back in DT, bc Maracyn short Nirite levels super high in QT.

A month or so ago Magnificent fox face went blind and eventually starved to death in QT tank by itself was treated with melafix. Thinking about this made me think what could make a fish go blind. Researched and flukes seems like a strong suspect when paired with a secondary infection. Figured treat for flukes with Prazipro.

Now today goby still seems fine, clown swimming in water column with mouth open, gramma hiding in corner on bottom of tank. Only goby seems interested in food.

So have you treated for flukes with prazi yet? That would be the next step I think.

I could try freshwater dip, but at this point I’ve already lost a lot of fish and I’d like to save what’s left and not stress them out. This has definitely been a learning experience for my first saltwater tank.

Prazi isn’t a quick fix, it can actually make fish appear sicker the next day due to flukes dropping off of the fish. If the issue is flukes, you won’t see any benefit from using prazi for 36 to 48 hours later.

I agree, a FW dip is going to be stressful and only of marginal benefit

Didn't know if I should start a new thread. New to the forum.

All my three fish died within 48 hours. During the first 24 hours they all stopped eating and then developed cloudy eyes and became a little lethargic. Gills, skin and fins all looked normal. The next morning they were all dead. The fish had been in my tank for over 5 months. Since I don't know the cause, how do I move forward? 20 gallon nano tank is 8 months old, all water parameters are spot on ( pH is 7.9), which I check several times a week with Hanna checkers, even with backup saifert kits. As a note, recently started using light concentration of Kalkwasser to bump up my pH. All parameters normal on day of death. Have a clam and about 20 corals, mostly LPS, one Acropora. All doing very well, some even thriving. The only thing added to the tank recently were a few frags. Without knowing the cause, do I let the tank go fishless for a period of time in hopes that the culprit is self-limiting without a fish host? Or do I treat the tank as if it was bacterial or fungal, which would kill my beneficial bacteria, and then start over with recycling my tank? Of course I have a lot invested in my corals. Any input would be appreciated.
