Ok so long story short, my zoas we're loosing colors so I fragged a few off the rock a few days back, from the other side that weren't affected but now all of them either lost all color or are closed with some white stuff all over them, even the fragged ones. Help save them for me.

Have you tested your water quality ? Changed flow ? Changed lighting ? Have you noticed anything crawling on them?

Yes tested my water all is good, nothing crawling, I dipped them to make sure.. Lighting is the same as always 2 hydra 52’s, the white stuff almost has the texture of hot glue.

No in fact this was the last thing I got about 3-4 weeks ago. I dipped it before I added it into the tank originally.

Depending on the brand dip, type and strength ,zoas can take 3+ days or more to recover and open. Even though I know you didn't do one,Peroxide dips can leave them looking nearly melted away.

I was thinking about trying a peroxide dip To try and save what’s left but not sure how strong...

The first pic looks like they're melting away. I see those little white specks on one pic and ive had those before on my zoas. You can easily scrape them off. I was never sure what they were but I didnt dip after either and the zoas ended up recovering. Not sure if thats whats actually causing your zoas to melt though. Good luck!

Ok so I dipped them into Iodine and a few days later Furan 2 but nothing helped, the melted away. Pretty bummed about it.

I usually never dip with iodine unless it's a last ditch effort because its really easy to kill your zoas. Thats a bummer they melted on you, sorry to hear that.

Ya I know but get this now the rock is clear of anything but on the side something bright orange has started growing... I’ll post a pick tomorrow, but it is already like the size of a dime.

Mushroom maybe? That's bizarre. And it showed up after the iodine and furan, right?

Weird! I cant really tell without a clearer pic, but maybe some type of algae or sponge.

I am so sorry. Is this isolated to certain zoas? I saw some palys in the pics and other zoas. Are they also affected?
