These white stringy things wont let up. I take a tooth brush to it but it just grabs the glass at first chance. I also noticed its populating like crazy. I want to know if its dangourous for coral or fish. Its soft and very string like. It doesnt get very long. It has a very strong grip as well. I have to scrub with some effort to get it all off.

Wow. Really would like a better pic.
Sometimes you can use a simple magnifying glass to make a macro lens.
My guess would be algal or bacterial. Check your parameters and slow down your feeding a bit. Could be sponges too but...

Its not possibly ick is it? I had a clown that died from ick about a month ago.

There's lots of sponges out there too. Sponges are squishy and fall into pieces when you scrape em. Feather dusters are crunchy so are syphanoid worms.
Algaes do grow into balls I guess but there's hell lotta cyano and other colonizing bacterial out there. It would be slimy and sticky when scraped. Also the structure would be random.
In either case the usual maintenance nutrient reduction methods will slow it down till you get a diagnosis.
Again a better pic would be invaluable.
