Ditto that question. I personally find these things somewhat disturbing. I like my coralline algae and would rather it not develop a permanent case of the measles.

I never got an ID, but there is no coralline left on my torch coral. Got some interesting photos, though.

Found one and its eggs on a nano conch. I'll try to get a pic of the torch when the lights are up again.

I have the identical thing. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to get rid of it?

Limpets eating mine. Now I have a green coralline growing and they aren't touching it.

I haven't found any way to get rid of them, but their population has decreased. Maybe they will eventually die off, but for now I still see them around my rocks, but they are more spaced out.

Limpets are known to eat coralline, but I'm pretty certain these aren't limpets. I've flaked them off the rock and looked at their underside under a microscope, and there surprisingly doesn't seem to be much flesh or anything.
