Reef Vitality is very effective at reducing NO3. Sometimes if the dosage is too high, it can cause a sudden drop in Nitrates and cause some tissue loss. This is why we always recommend our users to begin at 50% dosage and slowly increase until you find the dosage that best suits your reef.
