Something new everyday. Just found a Vermedit snail on one of my Turbos.

But what is this?

Hmm. Great question. Do they move at all? Or just squishy? At first glance I'm also thinking they're eggs.

I also thought maybe a hydroid of some kind. @redpine42 do they react at all or do they just sit there?

They don't look like hydroids.

They are stationary and I haven’t seen them move.

Then I think they're eggs/sacks, I can't tell what from though.

So it can’t be my cardinals since the male currently has a mouth full of eggs. Probably not my clowns as one or them seems confused about what kind of fish it is. Possibly chromis?

They'd be noticeably more like eggs, and Chromis viridis (I'm assuming species, as it's most common) spawn on substrate and you'd see other spawning behavior as well.

Well that leaves, shrimp, snails and hermit crabs.

I was going to say maybe a type of snail egg

Personally I'd say a type of medusoid hydroid (not like the ones we normally see) that has planted itself to the glass given the radial lines on the body. Could be a type of social tunicate. But if they hatch, then I guess they're eggs lol
