APTASIA not the end of the world but likely a struggle to infinity... at least thats what I'm expecting with mine.

Aiptasia for sure! Need to get rid of it ASAP or you’ll regret it. Don’t stress it until you’re sure you can take it out clean or it’ll reproduce like wildfire. There is something called **** aiptasia or something like that lol people swear by it over here.

Cool pic! Looks like aiptasia to me too.

It's just on a small rock shouldn't be to hard to take out and scrubb, it's at the base of a hammer frag

Omg! Aiptasia!

It happens. Do your search on how to remove/kill and issues (like stray pieces) left in tank.

You’re going to get 20 ways to remove/kill it by tomorrow morning. All will work.

Just YouTube some vids on it and get a walk through before you start. If not properly done it can spread. Not as scary as it sounds.

Nothing good that's for sure. I'd agree with the rest so far, looks like aiptasia. They were the first thing to pop up when i started mine. I hit the big ones with F-Aiptasia and then got a pair of Peppemint Shrimp (Lysmata wurdemanni ) and they wiped out all signs of those boogers. I haven't seen one in a while.

Not everyone seem to have success with the peppermints but they worked well for me.

If it is only the one, then your best bet is to cover it and the hole it is in with super glue gel. That will trap and starve it. There are many other things you can use to kill it, but they all risk it spreading spores in the tank while it dies.
Oh and I forgot to say +1 on Aiptasia being the ID.

I took it out removed the rock it was attached to out of the tank, it was a small rock a hammer was atached to figured that would do the job
