So just noticed some long hair like tentacles coming off a well established poly colony (20+ polyps) - not sure if it just caught something in the water column or if this is a sign of maturation or something else? First time I've seen it. Probably 5 or 6 very thing tentacles apprx 3-4" long - any thoughts? Thanks

Pictures would help if you could? Maybe a spaghetti worm? Maybe a vermite snail.

Ya, I was thinking I need to post a pic, but my capabilities are limited in that arena. I took another look after posting and it appears a number of the polyps are excreting waste (I broadcast fed last nite). I'm thinking these long tentacle looking things are actually waste as there is a decent amount of flow there and may just ne stretching it out. I do have a lot of spaghetti worms in the tank, and its definitely not that. I'll keep checking to see if they ultimately detach. Thanks very much for responding
