Something on my Favia?

My favia's been kinda bleaching out which I blamed on lights as some other things had as well. I turned down the lights and the other things are happy; however the favia still pale and has this weird growth on one side. Ignore the crabby cakes in the picture he's just wondering what's I'm doing.

Thank you! I pulled out that favia and crushed that sucker. It was definitely a snail type thing.
