We've already established that I caught a zoa nudi on these frags I just got over the weekend. I look pretty closely at all of ten and didn't see eggs. I did notice this yesterday and thought it was just captured detritus but now I'm concerned because it is still there today.

Any thoughts?

Looking at zoa nudi egg pictures, I don't think that's what this is. I definitely did pull some off during inspection though. I then dipped in Bayer, iodine and then peroxide.

It is on the face of the polyp though. Not sure what to do about that.

And now that I think about it. This has to be the frag I pulled the eggs off of.

Into a cup in the sump it goes.

That's what I'm afraid of. I'll leave it down in the cup in the sump for a few days and watch it. I'll probably dip it again on Friday too.

They look like cerith snail eggs. They do not attach to strong to where they are laid and can some times come off. I am pretty sure they will not hatch but makes good food for things in the tank.

So far, the only thing that's come off that frag is a red worm. Otherwise nada.

Edit: I think it's just a common bristle worm.

This beastie came off one of my larger frag discs. Goodbye Earl!

It doesn't look like one of the nudibranch egg clusters. They're usually in a spiral and so super small you can hardly see them.
